“I want to be able to exercise control and die with dignity, with my sense of self and personal integrity intact….I do not want the manner of my death to undermine the value I’ve put in my life….What I fear is a death that negates as opposed to concludes my life.”
Joseph J. Arvay, Q.C. is recipient of the “Walter S. Tarnopolsky Human Rights 2000 Award” and British Columbia Civil Liberties Association “Reg Robson 2005 Award”. Mr. Arvay has been involved in many constitutional cases of importance in British Columbia and elsewhere in Canada.
